A short film I shot and edited on the simplicity of poaching an egg. Although I would say that for such simplicity it has taken me a few changes of approach over the years to ‘perfect’ that runny yolk. Now, imagine trying to film it at the same time…yeh, it was a challenge but I hope you enjoy it. I must amend my first sentence, to the simplicity of cooking a poached egg, after many failed attempts, and the complexity of cooking and filming a poached egg.

Thank you. It’s taken many attempts to be truly happy with the technique – but is there much better than a well cooked freshly poached egg (well apart from stating in the Premier League).
